Offroading

The Ketchum Ranger District has many different offroading trails available for visitors to use, including the Smoky Mountains Area, the Wood River Area and Bear Gulch, and Cove Creek.

The Fairfield Ranger District has around 50 miles of trail for snowmobilers to enjoy, with easy access to even more trails (when weather conditions allow) in nearby private lands.

The Warm Springs-Deer Creek Area is a wide-ranging area of offroading trails and loops, with back-country trails numbered 58, 156, and 157 by the USDA, who recommend these sites for off-road riders with intermediate experience. The area is accessed through Forest Highway 61, located near Pine, Idaho.
